Its really important imo for citizens to push back when some senator starts mouthing off about how section 230 needs repealing, or other blatantly bad ideas

Now, before everybody panics and runs around like headless chickens, they have yet to introduce the bill, and Graham and Whitehouse have tried to pass this before and failed. The previous versions have never made it past the introduction stage.

This is a very divided vote. It means we've been encouraging dissent. It now goes to the full committee. Please keep calling and urging your reps to reject it
KOSA passed out of the subcommittee in the House on 13-10 vote. Meaning that they are FINALLY listening to some opposition. But not enough to prevent the other age verification bills from passing, let alone this.

Just called Senator Gillibrand's office and spoke with a very nice person who told me I wasn't the only person calling about this today and they were aware of how hazardous and scary this is. Good to hear people are reaching out about this.
