The more I look at the craziness in the world right now the more I think that an Independent Scotland could be a beacon of sanity. A nation run for the wellbeing and benefit of those who live in it, not those who own it. We have nothing to lose but Westminster shackles! #ScottishIndependence
That is an amazing road for a drive with a decent cafe at the far end. But not one for novice drivers or very low cars.

This is the Royal equivalent of the amputation of a gangrenous limb to stop the rest of The Firm getting infected.

An act of self-preservation.

If it was integrity, then they'd have booted Andrew out years ago.

They didn't.

Recorded crime in Scotland is at one of the lowest levels since 1974.

Police numbers are higher than when the SNP came into office.

And all that Anas Sarwar offers is empty rhetoric, hypocrisy and no solutions.

If you're a bit silly, you probably don't realise, the UK Government uses Scotland, to dump and hide dodgy stuff.

Decrepit old Nuclear Power Stations and Weapons, Old and Rotting Nuclear Subs, from the 1970s.

Scotland has NO SAY, over ANYTHING.

Only a fool doesn't want Independent Scotland.
Dounreay waste particle 'most radioactive' find for three years
The fragment has been categorised as "significant" and was found during monitoring work around the nuclear power plant, near Thurso.

Labour completely misunderstood their win in Scotland at the last election. They were given a last chance mission to undo at least some of the chaos the Tories have caused, and they’ve totally borked it in the pointless pursuit of fascist votes. They’re done.
Scottish Labour figures believe Keir Starmer will quit if SNP wins at Holyrood
EXCLUSIVE: Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has been urged to be bolder while another insider urged party MPs north of the border to "shut the f**k up".

I wanted a career in submarine sonar but ended up in underwater survey writing the software that makes all the different sensor data hang together (serious fun). Worked with a lot of ex-naval folk and heard a lot of interesting Cold War tales over beer. Clancy had a lot of it right.

MSPs have backed renewed calls for a statue of an acclaimed socialist to be installed in a major Scottish city

I've got a lot of the older Clancy books. Hunt for Red October inspired me to write a Type 22 frigate game for the Sinclair QL which bought my first car followed by Type 23 for the Atari ST (written in C!). But watching The Diplomat recently Trump makes it seem like a bad joke.

Independence is normal.

And if independent countries like Ireland, Denmark and Finland can be wealthier and fairer than the UK, so can Scotland.
Prince Andrew has given up his royal titles including Earl of Inverness after discussions with the king. Time to #AbolishTheMonarchy
Scotland didn't vote for #Brexit but we got it anyway. When we have 57 out of 650 MPs that's no surprise. Westminster can and does ignore Scots. It's time for #ScottishIndependence, time to make our own choices.
Top idea! But as Aviemore SNP organiser I would say that :-)

After almost 50 years, the Scottish Government is finally revisiting the rights of children and parents to opt out of religious observance in schools. But somehow, ministers have managed to bungle what ought to be a basic question of children's rights. www.thenational.scot/news/2551810...
Andrew Tickell: Scotland’s schools still force children to pray. That needs to change
MY wee sister will never forgive me. In the early 2000s, you apparently couldn’t have a school assembly without involving God, prayers and Bible…

I want to live in Scotland free from child poverty, where we look after the vulnerable, where people feel part of strong, supportive communities.

Organisations like Fresh Start in north Edinburgh are vital partners in building that fairer, more caring Scotland.

Thank you for all you do. 💛
