Been making a conscious effort start skating again!!! LOVE IT! I didn't skate at all last year. Before COVID I used to skate 3-5X a week but during COVID it got so sporadic that I just got out of the habit. Anyway I did a spin in a year was amazing! I was like WOW! Then I lost it. Why? I found out!

Ordered something online that shipped by GlobalPost. It’s been is on a tour of LA all week. Started w/ a weekend getaway in Santa Clarita. Then back to LA (Anaheim). Went to Orange for lunch on Wednesday then BACK to Anaheim 1 hour later and chilled for Thanksgiving. Now it’s in Compton 20 min away.

DYK all frozen breaded chicken consumer products in Canada (i.e. not foodservice) are now fully cooked (so they come out dry AF) because idiots we’re microwaving nugs for 90 seconds and getting sick eating raw chicken. Idiots… the “gift” that keeps on giving.

Stranger Things final season starts today and I wonder if anyone still cares? I assume the “kids” will be running around the neighbour in walkers now? It’ll also be interesting to see if their subscriber base (reportedly 700 million) drops after this, the last of their ”tentpole” shows.

Not a fan of the Almon St. mid-block pedestrian x-walk. It’s not a flasher but a beg button red light. Except it takes forever. I waited 2+ minutes before giving up when there hadn’t been a car is sight for awhile. I was halfway to Rona when it changed! This ridiculousness doesn’t make anyone safer.

Canadian Tire has the WORST self-checkout. I knew that but was reminded today. First, talking ones drive me mad. Second, it’s tiny 90’s style 3D buttons are unreadable. Third, it played a relentless game of add / remove the item as I was trying to pay. I said fuck this and walked out w/o my purchase
