all goofs aside, i think it's abating, but for i think the last decade, probably more, the softest, least politically engaged anticonsumerism genuinely had people throwing tantrums about not being allowed to enjoy things. that's why the griftoverse was such a success

im sure i'll understand better what you mean by that as i get to the final conclusion but from minute 1 i was really worried about the witchy wiccacore coat of paint put over this story about patriarchal succession struggles and it's clear they were not up to the task of thinking through this
