im still enjoying this game and i think it's very good but i'm also still thinking about this. for many years i was completely disinterested in mgs bc i assumed it was a game about how epic usa army man defeats terrorism. which is funny, because every other military game actually was and is that
tactical breach wizards is a great game but i do hope making breach-and-clear swat shit look cool will receive a very belated critical examination one day. not a complaint about the funny wizard game in particular so much as the cultural milieu it operates in

I’ve posted this before but the light was perfect today- a little Victorian cat paw in a brick at the front of the old Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. As this is on the front-facing corner of the main gates, the bricklayer quite clearly put it there on purpose, at a height where children would spot it.

main takeaway for me is that it took like 18 months and multiple waves of bans for artist's talent/monument to endurance to make it into a high level standard deck because there was so much shit that was so much stronger despite the cards in question being very clearly cracked since day 1
