That part irks me the most. They can detect a rusty truck floating in the endless void of space but their scanners didn't spot THREE WHOLE CITIES on the planet they were about to set foot upon. Inconceivable!

Also... everybody named after cities but the cities don't have names? Preposterous!

They'd have living descendants on Earth most likely, yet they stay?

Nobody from Voyager stayed behind either, even though the script says lots are considering it.

It would've been fun to see Earhart go w/ Voyager and take the helm, at least for a season or two.

"The 37's" is the most busted-ass, plot hole-ridden mess of nearly all of Star Trek Voyager episodes and yet it's still one of my favorites.

How the fk did they not see the conspicuously nameless "cities" from orbit? Why did they not give them names in the script?

Why did they all choose to stay?

Update. Not really sure what they're scouting or who they are.

The plane is currently headed south-southwest, away from Portland.
