Living through another mass extinction.

Fits the general description of a xennial.

Yeah everybody knows the only people who can stop the zombie apocalypse are the zombies themselves.

If I'm not already on somebody's block list somewhere, this oughta do the trick.

Millions seem to think AI is a liberating technology, same as we thought cars were liberating a century ago, and they marketed the hell out of them back then.

Cars, maybe? Made horses obsolete overnight and (in America, at least) are portrayed as the only sensible way to get from A to B. Cities are planned around cars, freeways replaced inter-city rail, parking lots instead of green space, etc.

I'd rather err on the side of caution with this stuff, anyway. These companies have proven time and again that they can't be trusted to do the right thing when profits are involved, and *never* trusted when AI is involved.

My dad bought the SRT-101 in the early 70s or late 60s, and he gave it to me 35 years ago. Still runs like a tank, and I've got a roll in it right now. I don't think I've ever had it serviced for anything. It just works.

At least with Teddy Ruxpin you could pop in a Bel Biv DeVoe tape and he'd just rock out to "Poison" without additional commentary.

How many jobs will AI take away from real people who have to work to survive?

Maybe you should investigate that.

Honestly I say get rid of Thanksgiving and let Halloween and Christmas divide the entire season between Pagans and Christians.
