Living through another mass extinction.

Fits the general description of a xennial.

Millions seem to think AI is a liberating technology, same as we thought cars were liberating a century ago, and they marketed the hell out of them back then.

Seaman did all this years ago, and somehow it was less creepy than it is now.

Dude I would've noticed something right away but as soon as he spoke I'd know IMMEDIATELY that it's just Gul Dukat cosplaying as a Bajoran, clearly up to no good.

That's some Clark Kent with the glasses and the hat bullshit right there.

Hopefully they choose another path.

I miss when A.I. was just bizarre fever dream emulators that rendered everything poorly and weren't actually running entire branches of American government and replacing doctors, teachers, lawyers, and generals.

I don't really get out and do much social stuff these days, let alone catch a wrestling show. I forgot how much I missed hanging around a bunch of weirdos and crazy folks who are also awesome and friendly. Might have to do it again someday.

We can post our own gifs now?

This one is actually my own, just playing around with animating my dog running on the beach.

Let's see if it works...

My go-to bad movie that I love is "Cabin Boy". It's crap.

One last thing:

Star Trek's biggest failure is its complete disregard for the actual size and scale of planets and especially stars.

Stars in the Star Trek universe vary in size from the small ones (the size of Cleveland, Ohio) and the large ones (the size of Ohio).

Notoriously bad at scale.

Also... there are security cameras literally *everywhere* on the ship and we've never seen them used? Even when somebody does something sneaky?

Did they stop putting cameras into ships after Pike's Enterprise?

They probably should've kept them.

The cover of sleazy gossip rag "Midnight", dated June 12, 1972.

Serious 2025 energy.

I grew up in the Youngstown, OH area and remember hiding in the basement that night. Really wild stuff, and a lot of people died. Now I live 2 hrs from St. Helens!
