Non-important NPC dialogue is a great place to hide some additional story bits, world lore, or just fun character stuff in general. And it's honestly one of the most fun aspects of game development.

Non-important NPC dialogue is a great place to hide some additional story bits, world lore, or just fun character stuff in general. And it's honestly one of the most fun aspects of game development.

Most of them got remastered already (yay!) but what I miss is MediEvil 2 (with health fountains not permanently drying out!!) since the 1st MediEvil got one already...

As a budgie owner, I know they can become easily obsessed with inanimate objects or/and their reflections; males especially so. Lonely budgies will seek social interactions, and in their mind, the object becomes their friend and partner.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I don’t know what the answer is either. We’ve built a world that seems unsustainable from almost every angle.
I try to keep some historical perspective since every generation complains about change, but genAI does seem like a bad shift. What happens when most people simply don’t know anything?
