Love seeing that there will finally be a BSides Maine! There is a growing cohort of cybersecurity and technology professionals and hobbyists in Maine and this will be a great event to bring everyone together.

Stumpy legs here is not thrilled about the incoming snow. Probably doesn’t help that he was rescued in Puerto Rico before coming up here. Maine winters are just a bit tough in comparison. A few inches of snow is pretty dramatic for him.

I'm only 34, but I think about Social Security quite a bit. The program is in trouble and will begin partial payments as early as 2033 if we don't quickly find solutions.
I support passage of the Social Security Expansion Act as a start. It would increase solvency by about 75 years.

Trains have long been underutilized in Maine despite advantages in freight and passenger capabilities. Passenger capabilities are particularly important as we look to better connect all of Maine. Especially for those who cannot drive and need services offered in other parts of the state. (1/2)

Got a letter from my dentist stating that they will no longer be in-network for my insurance starting in January.
Medicare For All would eliminate such considerations. In fact, much of the money saved by M4A is through simplification of the existing overly complex system. We can get it done.
