The United States federal and state government should forcibly integrate urban areas using busing and all other means necessary to promote a non-separated, multiracial society.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

My personal doomist perspective is that this is why it is important for all us to push for liberal values and influence on a personal and institutional level in our own lives, because the electoral terrain is bleak as fuck, and we have to do what we can to shape society from within.

ABOLISH ICE and EXPAND THE SUPREME COURT should be mainstream Democratic promises and talking points.

But timidity and civility will rule the day and screw the rest of us and this country in the end.

@diplomatofnight.com As long as the US continues to support Israel, how does European/international diplomatic or even BDS action change things? Simply by increasing the cost of continued US support for Israel, or are there other mechanisms? (Asking because I have no idea)

I think there’s a big difference between “all hope is lost” and “I have lost hope” and in climate it is really important to distinguish between the two. My personal feelings, your personal feelings are not the limits of our collective politics.

is the hiring rate really lower than at any point during the financial crisis? @peark.es
Private-sector hiring rates are down 4.3 over the year, near a record low, while public-sector hiring rates have held even (but are down 5.5 percent from pre-COVID days). Latest from the New Hires Quality Index:

fun part of 2025 politics is I gotta be fake-lectured by a Catholic Convert married to a 2nd-generation Indian Immigrant about how migration destroys ""social solidarity"" via an interview done in Rome printed in NY paper. Just a post-globalization world lashing out at the concept of globalization
“Social solidarity is destroyed when you have too much migration too quickly,” JD Vance tells our columnist Ross Douthat in this episode of “Interesting Times.” “That’s not because I hate the migrants or I’m motivated by grievance. That’s because I’m trying to preserve something in my own country.”
