CDC has been a global leader in public health & played a key role in smallpox eradication. Health depts in red states & blue states rely on CDC expertise & support. The CDC EIS program trains the next generation of public health leaders & disease detectives.

public health system, combining technical expertise, evidence-based policy recommendations, and high-quality health information. Any time I see these excuses, I offer the same challenge:

Defenders of slavery can arrange to have themselves sold to human traffickers. Their family can buy them back in 10 years or so, and THEN they can tell us about the positive aspects they found in slavery.

So far, no one's taken me up on it.
