Pretty much all of my in-person friends including my partner can be traced to social media going back decades (even friends I met in person were mostly via people I met on social media), particularly invaluable in moving countries. And then there's Bona Books, which is also thanks to social media.

Londoners! Do any of you know of any places in the city to get FRESH, HAND-CUT chips/fries? My local used to do it, but then head office forced them to blanch the potatoes before frying and it absolutely RUINS the whole thing.
