My son is playing Goat Simulator 3 before school. I'm not interested in the game nor watching him but when I hear the trophy noise I instinctively look up to see what it's for. Involuntary, kinda like blinking

The chances of Titanfall 3 actually happening have never seemed more distant. EA's just going to hyper-focus on its biggest IPs and shut down developers or projects that aren't huge money-earners

I'm normally all for indie games, but maybe Giant Squid should have gone to Sony and sold this as 'Journey 2' or a proper spiritual successor, and maybe it would have been more successful? It's a great game and it's very sad how it was almost entirely ignored #SwordoftheSea

Bethesda posted a clip from the new Indiana Jones DLC of Indy petting a cat and saying “you don’t care much about fascists do you?” And they are all pearl clutching saying this was a direct attack on Charlie Kirk. That’s where we are.

I bought Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 earlier. At £45 for the deluxe edition it was the most I've ever paid for a digital game. I need to try and finish Kvark first (excellent Half-Like) and I hope to make a start tonight ⚔️

I know these types of tools engender strong feelings in people, but I'd be remiss in not trying to offer the best advice I can under the circumstances. I’ve been experimenting with ways to use LLM AI tools (like ChatGPT or Copilot) to help reduce the emotional and cognitive load that comes with job loss.
Here are some prompt ideas and use cases that might help if you're feeling overwhelmed:
Career Planning Prompts:
“Act as a career coach. I’ve been laid off from a [role] in the game industry. Help me build a 30-day plan to regroup, research new roles, and start applying without burning out.”
“What kinds of game industry jobs could I pivot to with experience in [Production/Narrative/LiveOps/etc.]?”
Resume & LinkedIn Help
