One billion dollars of bribes through just one of his hundreds of different schemes.

President Donald Trump and his family have reaped more than $1 billion in crypto cash over the past year, thanks to an industry boom fueled by the administration’s own crypto-friendly policies.
Trump’s Empire Rakes in Over $1B in Colossal Crypto Cash Grab
The president’s son said the true total is “probably more.”

fortunately it's a state Constitution issue. There's not a federal question here so not likely for SCOTUS to have a chance to interfere (on this issue)

This claim is groundless. They tried the same thing with Right-to-Work and it was thrown out in the courts quickly.

If you've already signed, you're good. There will be signature gatherers at most (probably all) No Kings protests.

This isn't a he said/he said moment. The Constitution is not complicated on this. The only job of the Secretary of State is to receive the signatures and verify they are valid voters and enough were collected.

He has no authority to say when gathering may begin

Missouri’s secretary of state says any signatures gathered before Wednesday to place a new congressional map on the ballot won’t count.

Proponents of the redistricting referendum say that’s an unlawful attempt to shorten the signature-gathering window.

Trump found another $20 BILLION to give to Argentina, totaling their bailout to $40 BILLION.

Yet we can’t afford to prevent millions of Americans from losing their healthcare.

Shame.

The Constitution is clear and simple. There is no requirement that the Secretary of State or any other official sign off before signatures can be collected.

Shocked that a man who thinks racial profiling is just a minor inconvenience would question whether we need to protect against racial gerrymandering.

Alito says that we can figure this out with math. Nelson agrees, gives Alito the math that defeats his point.

Sotomayor: "race is *always* a part of redistricting efforts."

Thank you. See, the Republicans are trying to gaslight people by suggesting they're for "no race in gerrymandering." That's just not true. Race is ALWAYS a factor when you're drawing a map.

Wow this is a pretty barf-tastic response from Knightly

That scoff laugh says it all. Gross.

The thing that gets me about actors responding like this whenever they’re asking about JKR is that they always say “we need to learn to agree to disagree ^_^” as if trans people are the ones leading the campaign, when we’re just trying to live our lives while JKR posts about trans hate 24/7

Q: This has been reported for a while. Cory Mills was accused of beating a girlfriend in his DC apt. Are you concerned about these allegations?

JOHNSON: You have to ask Rep. Mills about that. He's been a faithful colleague. I don't know the details. Let's talk about things that are really serious

Note: this was ALWAYS the case, but it's doubly so for this administration.

The entire reason juries were invented in the first case is because of this problem. Way too many people have forgotten it.

Literally nothing coming from the Pentagon, DHS, or DOJ should be considered credible unless backed up by an independent source outside of government. (This, for the record, is a huge problem!)

Am I the only one who has a vague sense of sadness when technology tries to replace where human relationships should be?

like,

If I was depressed and burying myself in my studies, I would rather a friend ask me if I'm ok and need a hug or something instead of a chatbot chirpily chiding me.

Wait, WHAT? The IRB gone. The IRB!

What an extraordinarily dangerous, harmful, unethical bunch of MAGA and MAHA lackeys we now have running US public health, healthcare, and health research; they have totally lost their moral compass (assuming they once had one?).

The entire HR department at the CDC is gone. Everyone at the IRB, which makes sure studies are conducted ethically and rigorously, and the ethics office, which oversee conflicts of interest for CDC leaders and advisory committee members, were also let go.
