no one ever had to be forced to use *good* tech.
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

Eric Schmitt wants a race war
Sen. Eric Schmitt: "This mass migration we've seen needs to be met with mass deportations. 20 million people came here illegally. There's flaws in our legal immigration system. I think this is a real civilizational issue for us here in the West."

"I'm going to tax the everloving shit out of the rich people who made your life miserable and put every masked thug who broke the law or traitor who wrecked the government for their own profit in prison" I admit is too long for a sign, but at the very least this should be the spirit of the thing.

America is America because we have ALWAYS accepted migrants. We are the "melting pot" and always have been.

It was only the KKK written laws in the 1920s intended to keep Jewish people from immigrating that started to change that. And we know what that led to in the 1930s.
Acting US Attorney Alina Habba: "There were individuals that were saying this should be a safe harbor. A safe haven. Why? America is America because we protect our own. We don't allow this to happen. So when you say 'we,' I want to be very clear, it is not the Trump admin. It was the Biden admin."

The refusal to provide an alternative definition makes it clear that DHS is lobbying for “remigration” in the white supremacist sense: the ethnic cleansing of nonwhite Americans.
Kristi Noem refuses to directly answer a question about what Trump means by "remigration" -- a word that, as Kristen Welker notes, is often invoked by white nationalists in Europe

They keep booking these guests thinking that they’re informing Americans by asking “tough questions” into the air, and having them ignored.

If you want answers, invite actual experts. Look some people up. Do some “reporting” and find someone knowledgeable. Come on, already.

Did like, a dog attack that turkey? I don't have much room to talk, my ancestors (I have some actual butchers in my recentish family tree) would mock my carving skills, but that just looks completely shredded. (not to mention dry, overdone, and flavorless; no wonder they Vance hates turkey)

A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?

IF that's even anywhere close to true (remember, the dataset they're basing this claim on also blames broken bones and pool drownings on the COVID vaccine) that's 10 total out of millions, a tiny fraction compared to what COVID does to unvaccinated children.
Vinay Prasad of the FDA claims that he has proof that 10 children died from COVID19 vaccines, so the FDA will now target flu shots, look at whether people should receive multiple vaccines at the same time, and make the vaccine approval process significantly more difficult.

Every school that fights back has won. These agreements are not forced, they are willing choices the administrations are making.
Among the provisions are ones agreeing to the Trump administration's definition of sex as "biological sex" and agreeing "not perform hormonal interventions and transgender surgeries ... on any individual under the age of 18 years old, effective immediately."
