Is it just me, or should coats in so-called thrift stores cost $10-$15 max? I was seeing things in the $40 to $80 range today. People! These are secondhand clothes! People! You pay wages and rent, but your inventory is free!

That is how I used to study in college (except math): I would rewrite things or read my in-class written notes til I just remembered things. Do I remember them now? Of course not -- I don't even recognize essays in old Blue Books (my mind, voice, or anything). But I know the process made me better

I'm eating cheapo, chili-flavored ramen that I just bought, and I swear the noodles are thinner than they used to be, like that fancier packaged ramen you could only get before at Asian supermarkets, but this thinness is not for delicate mouth feel or anything, just because of inflation?

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

Closing rural hospitals, bankrupting farms... more people migrate to urban centers, where A.I. takes all the jobs. Shelter and electricity costs soar, and somehow cities are zones of "war." Homelessness declared a crime. Involuntary detention b.c of "your mind" -- write me a better ending

Voters should watch or read the '30s versions of The Grapes of Wrath. It's likely available in non-English languages and audio and maybe even free online b.c it's "old" (But everyone should have watched it 10 years ago) [I know that it ignores racism in its addressing of classism-via-capitalism]

Back when, most of us were of no importance, just like now, and we went to dust, and our letters and diaries went to dust too, or sometimes were burned proactively. Now. Everything we write gets kinda published, and we kinda agree to it. And we can't burn our words away anymore
