I found it validating. Maybe he does stop talking to them. Maybe they are acting more performatively extreme because they are heing recorded. I'm scared to do this with my mother and brother. And that is what was valuable to me to watch this

I have made 2 full turkeys in my lifetime. It is labor intensive, from prep to post-dinner processing and clean up, and I never want to do it again

Maybe the bland mush vibe is a nod to the British food-roots -- but everyone in US does the Thanksgiving meal their own way, and some people actually look forward to indulging in creamy buttered stuff and pumpkin CUSTARD pie once a year. And homemade gravy and cranberries boiled until they pop

They are approaching mini cheez-its. I liked when things were distinct from each other, stayed in their lanes. M&Ms are guilty of this, too

I'm really sorry anyone has to go through that, and I applaud your work. I heard moderation is outsourced to other countries, low pay, high trauma. Humanity is dark. I hope you could get support and counseling

It's like they haven't done even the most informal, anecdotal market research-- a couple in their late 50s-early 60s upstate NY I know pays $2,200/ month starting 2026. 5 years ago, I paid my former employer $1,200/month before my new job's benefits kicked in

They got Communism and totalitarianism confused again. Aren't we definitely being asked to do this under techbro capitalist-ism, to "... give up your freedom, place your trust in the power of the government, and trade the promise of prosperity for the empty comfort of control?"
