On the Hangang river with gray sky and water, a toy-like remote controlled small motorboat is making waves and splashes with its fast speed. On the horizon line there is a scape of apartment complexes, Seogangdaegyo bridge and its orange arch, and a lush group of dark green trees. 회색 하늘의 한강 위에 작은 R/C 모터보트가 물 위를 달리며 물줄기와 파도를 일으키고 있습니다. 수평선 위로 서울의 아파트 단지들, 서강대교와 주황색 아치 구조물, 그리고 한 가로줄로 무성히 자란 짙은 녹색 나무들이 보입니다.

I honestly was fine with all sorts of website using my pics without any credit, since unsplash states it's for free use "under unsplash license" anyway, but seeing the credits completely stripped for a random's benefit upset me hard.

I remember getting actual shocks to see my photos to be reposted (without any asking) on instagram with just my irl name instead of any links, and then also seeing my photo sold in some random russian website during the times I posted on unsplash... it's such an awful stress.

I like closeup and macro a lot, but I'm not into insects and interesting fungi are difficult to find in our poor-quality plantation woods around Seattle. Flowers are fun, but often over-hybridized, garish varieties. They are much less scary than people.

I've never posted Nikki in the bookcase so here y'all go 😇
Nikki, my sweet little female cat (3 months old? I'm losing track) in the bookcase with her big flappy ears, small head and paw poking out of a black bookcase and the collection of my mom's educational books on writing a good essay (high school teacher) she's sat on top of. Back with Seoul fireworks festival shots. Because of handheld and wishing on sony steadyshot instead of appropriate shutter speeds, many of the shots didn't come out clean. But I think there's still a few to share.
