St. Johns Bridge is a steel suspension bridge that spans the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, United States, between the Cathedral Park neighborhood in North Portland and the Linnton and Northwest Industrial neighborhoods in Northwest Portland. It carries the U.S. Route 30 Bypass. It is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley and one of three public highway suspension bridges in Oregon. Pictured here after sunrise, the enormity of the bridge is observed by the small figure of a runner on the sidewalk and a small van on the road.

The same building photographed recently. In 2020 it underwent a restoration effort. Afterwards it's been in use as a multi-functional extension of the surrounding city square, housing art and historical exhibitions, a book market, a coffeeshop, and a place for worship.

For a moment there, I thought the guy in the bin liner on the left was wearing hotpants. Turns out it was the arm of the guy in the bottom left that confused me.

Never heard this album. But Dawn Patrol is nice.
