I've worked in IT since 1983, and seen many trends come and go, but this new thing of Junior Devs using mechanical keyboards is killing me. Just because you've got a keyboard that clicks doesn't mean that you're in any way competent. I think I might be done.

It should be written into law that all AI generated images and videos must have a watermark all over it stating which program created it.

This used to happen in the early days of the dot com gold rush, but the thefts were mostly things like Cisco line cards, worth tens of thousands and easily smuggled out in a pocket.
Attacking a data center like it’s The Bastille, everyone fleeing with a bushels of RAM to desolder and resolder the chips. One peasant coded guy with a wheelbarrow of SFP+ modules. Manifesting this for 2026.

Amazon Quick appears to have way more to it than when I last looked. It's been rolled out across Amazon, and everyone's getting value from it apparently. The image I have is of Garman, standing over the rest of the business, pushing dogfood into everyone's face, one wobbly spoonful at a time
