The anti-Zohran crowd went from: "Zohran isn't visiting any synagogues," to "he isn't visiting the right kind of synagogues" (or to quote JG: "he isn't visiting any mainstream synagogues" [sic]).

To now just protesting that he is actually engaging with mainstream synagogues 🤦‍♀️

Nobody wants it as a story but I have multiple NYPD sources who voted for Mamdani, are eager for his win in November, and who say their colleagues quietly feel the same.

They like that he wants NYPD to focus on crime, not quality of life enforcement.

Can’t speak to what’s happening in other places, but the one merchant using Boulder as an example of a booming downtown is just not true. Significant number of closed stores and vacant storefronts all over downtown…some have been empty for years. And this has increased in the last year.
