Cohen said: “The itinerary was looking pretty full, to be fair. I’d have had to hang around the venue until about 11pm, which is usually the time I become a depleted husk of a woman. So this has worked out perfectly.”
Autistic woman left at the altar just glad she’s got the afternoon free now
An autistic woman who has been left at the altar at her wedding is quietly relieved to have the time back, according to witnesses. Talia Cohen, 34, was jilted by her husband-to-be Gavin Monks, 34,…

I just do not know how to tolerate the expectations around Christmas anymore. So overwhelmed; feel like a toddler (negative).

wtf space and solar flares and planes this is WILD
This means these aircraft appear vulnerable 2 subatomic particles from space changing tiny bits of data in computer software causing said computer to malfunction.

This issue has been suspected to affect other planes, famously an Air Qantas flight. But it's v hard to be conclusive about such cases.

The "don't have an extra kid if you can't afford it" brigade get awfully upset when you suggest they don't stay in their £2m house if they can't afford it, don't they?

Research shows unequivocally what the benefit limit means: kids go without food, clothes, and heating. You can think it’s unfair some parents get cash you don’t or made poor choices you didn’t. But if you think that resentment is more important than a child, I’d suggest you might reflect on that.

The two child limit is and will stay popular with the public. It jars a sense of “fairness”: if I have to assess my finances before having kids, why shouldn’t you? But people get sick, sacked, and contraception fails. Crucially, fairness isn’t always what matters. Whether a child goes hungry does.

How much are we betting that Russia and Germany stereotyped werr in breach of some kind of policy, and so they just retuned the country name instead? (Can’t fathom Lithuania for this, though).

This house tax pretending is making me more insane than usual because as a renter I’ve had to move every 1-3 years just as standard because rents always rise. And no one cares. House owners get a tiny fraction of that precarity and suddenly it’s the worst thing that’s ever happened

Serious howls of outrage in the media this morning at what is a relatively modest Budget from Labour that does nothing more than fiddle around the margins.

It does highlight the missed opportunity. If you’re going to get this reaction anyway, why not at least get it for attempting a big swing?
