It occurs to me a bunch of people are about to be new to poverty. I have some advice, if you want it.

1. This will be counterintuitive: Spend it while you've got it. Some money comes in, one way or another? Buy food. Buy tp, soap, shampoo, toothpaste. Socks, underwear. You'll thank yourself.

Hemingway is wildly overrated.

I realize this might sound merely contrarian but I mean it. The writing is wonderfully economical, certainly, but the themes are dull af and repetitive, and his misogyny was off the charts.

Yeah. I mean, it's a bunch of things. If they can keep it shut down long enough, they'll go after Medicare, and Medicaid funding, too. VA, more.

But the Epstein files are so clearly the #1 priority, given the refusal to swear in Rep. Grijalva.
