I’m just going to repost this seasonally when I have the wherewithal, because everything we see from mid-November through Christmas is pushing sales like Cyber Monday.

But the demand they create puts Amazon workers at greater risk than usual (already above industry average) for serious injuries.
Re: Prime Week, I want to repost a couple of things, including a story I worked on in 2019, on Amazon injury rates.

I analyzed 2018 data and found major spikes on Cyber Monday and Prime Day, but I kept being afraid of overstating the finding. Screenshot is from revealnews.org/article/behi...

Still going on! I support everyone in the US doing economic blackout at this time, but this is one place I would say you should go ahead and shop anyway.

If you qualify, you are in desperate need; and our paltry contributions are not moving the needle on anything.

#PCsForPeople #BlackFriday
PSA: PCs for People is having a sale

You have to qualify to shop there, meaning, you gotta be poor af. If you are, then you can get a good computer or tablet CHEAP. For example, Dell Latitude 5490 with Windows 11 for $100.00.

And today, with code BLACKFRIDAY, another 20% off that!

Any realtors and/or economists with a focus on real estate in my mutuals? I have an economic question relating to real estate.

It's pretty specific; personal anecdata won't be meaningful. I'm looking for expert information.

We should also be acknowledging, lamenting, the fact that they should never have been put there in the first place. It is ok for 2 things to be true at the same time. The shooting is 100% wrong and must be condemned. At the same time, so should the unconstitutional & immoral deployment be condemned.

When you're a Nazi, everything you make is racist. But, to answer the question more directly, there's a lot more to this content than just making fun of Will Stancil.

Laundry cost $120 this month fml 😬

Thanks to the kind generosity of online friends I was able to cover it, but ya know what I don't have left? Anything for Thanksgiving wine!

A luxury, true, but it'd sure be nice. Wish list, if you're feeling the spirit! And if no that's ok too. Happy 🦃 day!
