Wow, this is disappointing. This meeting was supposed to be a final confirmation of a deal agreed six months ago, and it would have been the first serious step in making the slow-to-change shipping industry cleaner & greener & ready for the future. The delay only hurts everyone in the long run. 🌊

Wow, this is disappointing. This meeting was supposed to be a final confirmation of a deal agreed six months ago, and it would have been the first serious step in making the slow-to-change shipping industry cleaner & greener & ready for the future. The delay only hurts everyone in the long run. 🌊
#Zukunftsentscheid: Laut einem Gutachten im Auftrag der Stadt Hamburg müssen, um Klimaneutralität 2040 zu erreichen, bis dahin alle Gas- und Ölkessel in Gebäuden ausgetauscht und das gesamte Gasnetz stillgelegt werden. Und: Tempo 30 überall und viel weniger PKW.

Update from Zeebrugge, Belgium: After almost 30 hrs of blockade at the LNG terminal, Greenpeace Belgium activists were removed and arrested. The ship Witness was towed away.
At least 2 LNG tankers headed for Zeebrugge seem to have changed course as a result of the action. #StopFossilGas

Die Entschleunigung des Segelns mit einem #Traditionssegler ist eine wunderbare Metapher dafür was wir auch in der #Klimapolitik bräuchten: Entschleunigung und eine Besinnung darauf was wirklich wichtig im Leben ist: Zusammenhalt und Gemeinschaft für ein gutes leben für Alle.
Ohne #Traditionssegler wäre die #Ostsee lange nicht so schön. Es es wichtig diese Tradition am Leben zu halten.
