That the murder of Brianna Ghey has been so completely co-opted by the "ban kids from using phones" brigade sickens me to my fucking core. Whatever her killers were looking at it's undeniable that the landslide of transphobic propaganda in the media played a crucial role in their choice of victim.

For today's #huntober I went to an old Disney series called My Babysitter's a Vampire. It's a decent enough series, but suffers from the faults of a lot of kids-TV, including... let's say... shallow writing.

This is a tabletop RPG so the characters are the players' and we're making them up as we go along.

I currently lack the funds to commission art of each.

The other is a far-distant sci-fi space-faring game several thousand years post the collapse of an interstellar empire that left damage all over the galaxy.

There's a cyber dog, a conspiracy theorist, a scientist, and a doctor who is an agent for a group seeking old tech to solve all the mess.

One set is in a modern small Maine town where one of the characters is a woman who survived an encounter with a haunted house but was left inhuman and the other two are descendants of people who didn't survive. One who was nearly sacrificed by a cult and the other a horror author.

Today's #huntober thing is a show that ran from 2016 to 2021 on SyFy and was on Netflix for a while. I only saw watching the first season because too many things.

I liked the show, and reading about later seasons is cool. Ah well.
