The Electric State in particular is a good example of this need by the industry to remove the artist from the art, reducing it to 'vibe' background images with no substance, while uncreative people try to create something for an uncreative & uncaring demographic
In light of Netflix's purchase of Warner Bros, it's worth revisiting this article that questions why all of Netflix's big budget wannabe blockbuster movies have been so awful.
The article describes them as "mockbusters" because they superficially resemble blockbusters, but lack sensation.

Christmas is such a social time - here's some top tips for making sparkling conversation!
1.
Use body language to convey approachability.

Start with a gentle icebreaker to put people at ease

Avoid 'Angelsplaining': Always introduce topics of conversation by asking interested, open questions.
[The Angel shoves his massive, cheery face into the terrified Shepherds' personal space and bellows]:

If there's a lull in the conversation, try summoning the Company of the Heavenly Host.
[The bAngel summons thousands more angels, filling the sky with sublime, terrifying fire as they all sing]:

[The Heavenly Host all disappear. There is an awkward silent pause, the Shepherds now cowering on the floor, quietly weeping.]

Waterstones & James Daunt have made their 100s of millions of £ off the backs of people creating books.
Humans that struggle to make a living as Waterstones insist on taking such big cuts of their books.
The least they could do as a company is fully support the future stability of human creativity
