Good discussion with colleagues at a panel hosted by the Canadian Produce Marketing Association and the Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada. We talked labour, trade, red tape, and food security. I’ll keep pushing for policies that support Canadian growers and workers.

I feel exactly the same Maureen ~ on top of all the nonsense going on ~ my wife is at the final stages of #ALS and I feel beyond angry ~ why can’t the #Trumps #Putins #SexualPredators of this world get the worst diseases ~ maybe because they already are the worst of human disease? But no #Christmas
By now my house is usually decorated for Christmas and I enjoy doing it. This year I can’t muster it. I just don’t feel like it matches reality. Today was nonstop jaw-dropping bad news. Except it’s also not surprising somehow. Which is why it feels so hopeless, I guess. Some things are too far gone.
