Can confirm that Devin Pearson is expected to join the Washington Nationals as an assistant general manager. First with the news was @alexspeier.bsky.social.

Pearson had been Boston’s scouting director since 2023.

I am so, so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet and learn from Miss Major. After her stroke, she worked with a friend of mine for therapy, and continued her activism by educating clinicians about working with trans patients. We are so fortunate to have known her. May her memory be a blessing.

Miss Major Griffin-Gracy passed away today according to the House of GG. She was a veteran of the Stonewall rebellion and a lifelong organizer for the safety and dignity of trans people, sex workers, and the incarcerated. She came from the same generation and milieu as Marsha and Sylvia. She was 78.
