Happy #PortfolioDay once again! I’m Slumber — a narcoleptic mutant who specialises in drawing funky creatures, manmade biohorrors, and silly goobers. Uni has me bogged down rn, so most of these are a year old, but I’d say they’re still up to date!

The teeth are long and uncomfortably well-defined, and the eyes are misaligned and inexplicably overlapping the teeth. Two similarly misaligned horns jut out of the monster’s head and poke through the hood of the costume, striped black and yellow. Thin black spines stick out through the costume along the spine, and the creatures long barbed tail is curled up in excitement. It is slightly hunched over, with the tips of its clawed fingers touching. The creature on the left appears to be an uncanny mimicry of a young woman. It wears a loose-fitting black t shirt with a print of the landing page of rotten(dot)com on it, short black shorts, and black boots. It has shoulder length curly hair, fading from black, to grey, to white from top to bottom. Its skin is chalky grey and its limbs are far too long and spindly for its other proportions. It also has misaligned eyes, and a crooked, too-wide smile below a relatively human-ish nose. It has its hand up to its mouth as if it’s trying to stifle a laugh. Each entity is speaking with grungy painted speech bubbles — orange and green respectively — with the text redacted by bars of messy paint strokes, save for a couple bits of punctuation, and a love heart from each creature. A painting of a monster made of two conjoined entities; Mother Nature and Father Time — in a dark, indistinct forest clearing. The leftmost side of the monster, Mother Nature, has her nonexistent mouth agape, with the flesh tearing itself apart in order to form an orifice. The flesh attaching the two deities is unstable and stretched apart, with multiple layers of flesh being visible through a multitude of holes created through strain. There are an assortment of half-formed limbs along the midsection of the conjoined being. Fanart of the Gen 9 Pokémon Clodsire. A dessert glass, containing a very silly and friendly-looking creature, seemingly made of nothing but mud. Its cheeks, nose, chin, and stubby little limbs are pressed up against the glass as it smiles. It’s butt is above it’s head in a sort of reverse crab pose, and it’s fat lil mudball tail is hanging out of the top of the glass jar. Its bum and tail have been covered in whipped cream, chocolate curls, and chocolate sprinkles, with some of the cream sliding down the inner of the glass and onto the critter’s head. He is made of mud and poison, however, and no matter how much he looks like a chocolate pudding, you should never eat him. So this art is the next best thing.

The premise of this project is a series of candid shots of a world where a pandemic left around 4% of surviving victims with severe physical mutations. Okay it’s basically just Covid but with extra body dysmorphia. There’s still a 30% chance of other complications btw 💀

THE NECROBORG, a massive being resembling a decayed astronaut with a large metal coffin shaped object in its twisted torso. There is one of itself in the center of the image, but two others are at its side as the being can appear in more than one place at once. a blurry trailcam photo of the Annelids Necronaut. Her long neck has many glowing eyes and her body (made of many worm bodies) maintains a feminine shape as she wanders a forest setting. The Eidolons stand proud in a formation that shows their unique masks that cover the variety of changes these heroes undergo after surgery at the hands of their caring benefactor, the Geist. From the left to the right are an Eidolon Soldier, the medical captain Azarius, a Thinker Unit, a Hounder, and yet another soldier. And in the back is a Pegasus unit, a human transformed into a centaur form to traverse impossible space. The android jenny, a blue humanoid machine with a single red eye, white hair, and a pink/blue jazzy dress in a room. It doesnt look like a room, but distant walls and mirrored floors bely the nature of this "presentation" space. Distant orbs float in strange formations.
