I’ve seen some reporting on how AI is fuelling psychosis but I think we also need more studies on the impacts of digital addictions - and particularly social media and streaming - on empathy. Essentially hundreds of people watched a disabled man die in the course of 12 days of abuse.

This is literally why the UN Refugee Convention exists - because in the lead up to and during the holocaust European nations arbitrarily denied citizenship to their Jewish and Roma citizens as well as dissenters, deporting them to Germany for execution.
