Updated Doom Diver catapult. Trying out a grasslands base that will be repeated on the rest of the army I'm working on. The goal was to make it look like they're leaving an area that's dying to go to literally greener pastures.

We arrived in the our new house on August 1st. It is 65 days later and I'm calling us moved in. Every single room can be easily used for its intended purpose and there isn't a cardboard box anywhere in the entire house.

Plenty of sprucing to do, but the move itself is done.

I now have two data points towards "When the Longhorns lose, I don't make as much money" implying that when the room is in good spirits they're looser. I'm going to be annoyed if I have to cheer for Texas in order to increase my winrate.

This session's key hand did involve a very lucky(10%) hit for me though. A player who had been betting very heavily when he had it was in a pot with me. I flop top two pair, he turns a flush and I river one of the four cards in the deck to give me a full house.

Saturday poker continues to be profitable. Four more hours at the tables nets me $461 in profit. This brings my Texas poker total to more than I made as a government contractor in all of 2024, but that's more a comment on how much my hours were slashed.

As another shutdown is inevitable at this point, I wonder if Trump breaks his own record for longest shutdown which also occured when Republicans controlled every lever of power in Washington. There are few more damaging lies in politics than the GOP being the party of fiscal responsiblity.
