My favourite picture of her where everyone else is giving it their best Blue Steel & she looks like she’s just wandered in off the street looking super cool.
She was allowed to wear her own clothes & her wonderful personality shines out.
What a unique talent & human being.

Oh, excellent timing! Yeah, it's one that I genuinely loved back in 2015 but it just has gotten better for me over time (so funny and so much heart). Also, I cannot listen to "Bette Davis Eyes" without getting completely emotional either.

Last year, all my mom really wanted for Xmas was The Godfather set on Blu-ray but I couldn't really afford it, so I sent her mine. Been missing that set lately, but especially today in the wake of losing Diane Keaton. So, the fact that Pluto TV is in the midst of a Godfather marathon is helping.🖤

When I interviewed her for my book Gillian Armstrong told me that the studio was interfering when they were maybe a day behind schedule filming MRS. SOFFEL and Diane Keaton called the studio and said “Leave Gil alone. She’s doing a great job.” And the studio left her alone the rest of the shoot.
