I guess we will start accepting buttons as payment too
Funny because she is the one with the full catalogue of knowledge on how to wage war on women! Love how upset they all are about how good the Green Party’s messaging is at the moment.
Yeah letting empty pubs stay open later is going to be a lifesaver for the industry 🙃

Not a bad place to collect some beer from… worth the drive for a bit of sea view.
Beers will appear @thegreengoddesspub.bsky.social soon.

The Hampstead ponds have REPEATEDLY voted to include trans women. But the officious pricks at Sex Matters don’t care what other women think and are forcing a public consultation anyway. Throw the ponds some support.
🚨 Consultation survey launched on whether trans people should be able to access Hampstead Heath ladies' pond following Supreme Court ruling

The consultation is open until 12:00 on Tuesday 25th November 2025.

Oh what’s this?! Some lovely new cask, that’s what! The always amazing Kora Old Ale from @handbrewco.bsky.social and a refreshing motueka and lime pale from @otherworldbrewing1.bsky.social are now gracing the bar with their distinguished presence.
A dimpled half mug of Pale ale on the left, dark red old ale on the right. The pumps/pumpclips are behind the glasses on our wooden bar.
Feels like the only way to move forward at this stage
Oh yes we see pubs like us all over the place recognised for their work. Never fear, we shall strive to be more like the Bugle Horn and maybe one day we will be rewarded with a mention

Preparing to do this talk at @kornolfest.bsky.social, about "the Medieval water myth." Really looking forward to that, because the actual truth of this is nothing like what people imagine, whether they believe in the "water myth" or they think it's nonsense.

I’ll be serving this up on Friday!
Modern pale or traditional bitter? Traditional pale or modern bitter? If only there was some way you could sample them all in the same place.

Join us on Friday (3rd Oct) for our Trad v Modern Cask Night, with your host @davidjesudason.bsky.social.
We don’t get recognised at all, not for the cider either.
It really does because we love cask beer and promote it to everyone!
We care about the cask beer so much and spend a lot of our time looking after and promoting it. Our friends at The Rusty Bucket are the same. We have to ask - does that count for nothing? CAMRA is in big trouble if this pattern is repeated in other areas of the country.
Thanks for your kind words. Even putting keg beer aside it is pure absurdity.
Thank you. The concerning thing is that there will be a significant number of other places doing good beer who are also left out for spurious reasons!
Would like to say yes but as our local branch members don’t seem willing to recognise our efforts, we remain somewhat disillusioned with the organisation and wonder how many good pubs are left out as we are!
Guess who isn’t in Camra’s Good Beer Guide for another year?! Yes, it’s us! Luckily we know we serve good beer and we will continue to do so even if our local branch members don’t seem to recognise that.
The spooders are out and living their best lives
