Ooh. The cask that got left behind…
I can’t recall why we didn’t get to serve it at our pop up - but here it is. 3ish years later served with a sparkler. It’s delicious! Brick ESB (when they were still in Peckham and good). And it’s only here tomorrow. NYD.
Night off.

It happens occasionally.

This is @staywildbrewery.bsky.social Lofa. Noice.
Not a bad place to collect some beer from… worth the drive for a bit of sea view.
Beers will appear @thegreengoddesspub.bsky.social soon.

Guess who isn’t in Camra’s Good Beer Guide for another year?! Yes, it’s us! Luckily we know we serve good beer and we will continue to do so even if our local branch members don’t seem to recognise that.
I got 11. But most of that was learning from the previous wrong answers!
Out in that there lovely Lesnes Abbey today serving up delicious beers etc. In between pours I’m catching up on some important reading…

Out and about enjoying North London today. Parked next this. Turns out it’s one of London’s first electric generating stations. #lookuplondon
Some people are so ‘unaware’ of what and/or where they are saying things.

Two people at the bar, while I’m pouring their beers, from our excellent range, one pipes up to the other - “you know a place we should go xxx as it’s got great beers and they brew there and nice vibe” err hello?
Random things people take from your pub.

The music stand on (attached to) the piano has been stolen, yesterday, we think. Confused not only for why, but also how?!
I’m up town today. Found a ‘cafe & bar’ to retreat to for a few min. Asking for a packet of crisps “salt and vinegar maybe”has turned into me getting fries with vinegar. #confuzzed
Exactly. The land in Thamesmead by the river is still safeguarded - legacy from Thames Gateway if not before. Equally Thamesmead base design of roads is car centric (and of its time). No need for endless dual carriageways these days.
C-Ring would have connected / was by another name the ELRC which if built would have cut Plumstead in half, destroyed Oxleas Wood, Rockliffe Gardens etc on its route to Falconwood and the A2. Pretty glad the road and stn didn’t happen tbh. Was never the answer.

Bless you all! Will update fully tomorrow.
At the pub staring out at the solid line of vehicles.

The Blackwall Tunnel has been broke yesterday and today for differing reasons I assume. Is that some sort of irony to show when Silvertown opens everything will be wonderful*

*it won’t. Induced traffic will just worsen things.
Today’s office with a view. It’s not always about the beer!

Running a pub. It’s a draining experience…
Oh no. That’s really tough and frustrating. But build it and they will come. People will pay for quality.
Ah I see a use has been found for the 4x4 button. Mounting the big Donny kerb.

As Trump and Musk gleefully smash the institutions of government, they simultaneously rush us towards the Earth systems horizon.
You think this is a dangerous moment? It is. But add escalating climate breakdown to your calculations and multiply by ten.
Cask is a thing outside UK. In Lille and not 1 but 3 beers on cask - all with sparklers, naturally. Love it!

Glorious ESB by @indierabble.bsky.social at the wonderful @thegreengoddesspub.bsky.social today. Packed with rich, chewy malts. Marvellous brewing and conditioning.
Quelle surprise!
Five years after we left, a new YouGov poll finds a grand total of 2% of voters think Brexit has had a very positive impact on the NHS.
