Needing multiple streams of income to stay afloat is a societal failure not a personal one. You should be able to afford a comfortable lifestyle with one job. You are not lazy.

Oh yeah, funny story! Before the AIO was shipped, the company reached out and asked if they could send me the newest model ver.III update rather than the ver.II that was listed; or if I wanted the payout to purchase the ver.II myself.

It's hard to get these at the moment, so I took the upgrade.

Not surprised either that many, MANY, mecha novels and series are not popular outside of Asia. This includes ones like Zoids, Full Metal Panic, Knights of Sidonia, Cross Ange, Heavy Object, Broken Blade, Aquarion Evol and such. There's a lot of others from the 80s and 90s too!

86 is, by far, a fav!

It's still nuts that 86 was considered a flop and unpopular outside of Asia. There's so few people that I know who've watched it or even heard of it. ALDNOAH. zero is good too.

They always put litter easter-eggs into their universes from one another. An example is in Destiny's Road, Destiny actually finds some of the "bird creatures" in Rama - which were going to go extinct. Footfall is another, it was the basis for Independence Day!

The book is so good. The second one you get a little lost on but it picks back up again after the third. The great part about many of the smaller books I got is that they could be a good day-stream read. Lots of the authors collaborated together on scifi stories back then.

Yes! This series is AWESOME. These are some I inherited from my old boss. He kept some great ones with such as all the Ringworld and Fleet of Worlds, I'm slowly refinding many that he lent me to repurchase, it's nuts though, cause they are rare now and way out of publish. There's 6 books to Rama.
