I’m not a suburbanite but this could also be part of it. I need you all to understand that I’m a huge nerd tho and I also just love to be in a classroom.
I saw a skeet once that said the reason why middle aged suburbanites look back fondly on college is that it was the last time they lived within walking distance of their friends, their work, & their recreation. They year for new urbanism, but partially misinterpret it as nostalgia for college.
