They never should've mainstreamed therapy if it would lead people to believe automatic text that agrees that everything you say is the greatest thing ever is therapy. A therapist has to be a sounding board providing feedback on your unhealthy mental habits & impulses. Not just make you feel great.

I'm not an abolitionist of all of psychiatry. The drugs are great so thanks. I know if they cared about mad people the drugs wouldn't destroy our bodies but I digress. I'm an abolitionist of caging people for madness. It's well possible for people in mental crisis to be cared for in community.
