This shit is some dumb bullshit regardless, but the fact there’s no regulations requiring some kind of disclosure that it’s AI is downright criminal.

I’m talking BIG fucking watermark right smack dab in the center of the video. At MINIMUM.

Millions of people are liking and sharing videos that someone has to pop in and say, “Hey! This is AI. Look at the drawers in the background. They are slightly warped and oddly shaped.

WE DO NOT HAVE THE ATTENTION SPAN TO MAKE THAT OBSERVATION ANYMORE. 😭

I will forever despair at the fact that fucking ignorant goobers like this are able to insert their ignorant opinion on any topic they like, all while having such massive platforms and influence.

The LAST people who deserve that kind of power are all the ones who have it.

Mood.

Going into complete manic psychosis was the worst day of my life. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

DESERVED

For businesses, they try to maximize gains and minimize cost, then sell them to make shareholders a big profit in five to ten year cycles.

They don't give a single shit about what doing this will do to the business. They prioritize short term gain over the long term wellbeing of the property.

I'm no expert on how private equity even works, but from the research I did for the post, it apparently buys out affordable housing, renovates it, and hikes up the rental cost, pricing out residents who may have lived there for generations.

I consider myself a very meek and anxious person. My coworkers recently said I seem very confident.

I’m not good at reading social cues, so maybe they were fucking with me, but if not, it makes me happy to know I don’t come across TOO meekly.

I expect evil people to do evil things

I also expect people selling themselves as a bulwark against those evil people to fight tooth and nail against the evil things evil people do

only one of these groups is currently performing according to expectations

Can you imagine finding out that everyone sees you as a totally different kind of person than who you know yourself to be?

What if you think you're confident, but you find out everyone thinks you have awkward vibes? Or you see yourself as a very nice people pleaser, but everyone finds you scary?

They prioritize short-term profit at the expense of everyone’s long-term wellbeing.

Absolute vultures; a net negative on society.

The reason why places like hospitals have CORPORATE FUCKING OFFICES?

Private equity.

If you think of any business that “used to be great” but is now a shell of itself with expensive products/services with a much lower quality, chances are that it’s because it was brought out by private equity.

I’m writing an article, and as a silly little crochet nerd, I used to love Joann Fabrics. In doing my research, I learned that a pretty big chunk of why it suddenly closed every single location was because of private equity.

Shoosh yeah.

I’m sorry to hear they did this. 🙁
