Not this debunked howler again. For the millionth time, left-wing people call the BBC right-wing because its news output has a clear and repeatedly proven right-leaning bias; right-wing people call it left-wing because some of the presenters are black. Not equal and opposite in any way.

It's wild seeing people act surprised that Keir 'Alpaca attacker' Starmer is authoritarian. The guy that deported someone for stealing ice cream. The cunt so servile to america that he tried having an autistic man sent to Guantanimo for trying to find out if aliens existed.

Yes and yet several European countries are embracing a far-right worldview that would burn these policies to the ground, so let’s be not be smug or complacent here - particularly as Mamdani‘s pro-immigration stance is radical by European standards.
Europeans recognize Zohran Mamdani’s supposedly radical policies as ‘normal’ -- Critics of New York City’s mayor-elect have said his pledges of free bus service and universal childcare are unrealistic, but in Europe it’s a given www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

The pandemic was a mass-disabling event and one of the reasons it has largely vanished from day to day political discourse is that those in power don't want to acknowledge the long term care needs it produced.

It’s truly tragic how many of these US war criminals like Cheney never face justice and die in their peacefully in their homes in their 80s and 90s. I want to be happy he is dead but I am not. The million people he killed didnt get the luxury to die how he did.

The news story that reveals Wes Streeting’s puberty-blocker ban to be nothing to do with “protecting children” and everything to do with Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer being deeply transphobic bigots…

Good morning autistic comrades

Before you blame yourself for being “too sensitive”, ask what you’re being asked to tolerate.

Not everything that overwhelms you needs fixing.

Some things need leaving behind.

This from X is a striking example of what I argue in today’s column. Reform and the Tories are out here gleefully saying disabled people on Motability should be forced to drive a 3-wheeler, like a scarlet letter. The stigma is not an accident - it’s the design.

Every time a journalist asks someone to comment on this they help shift it from being totally unthinkable to being a live controversy. Then, it will be a legal debate with two legitimate schools of thought. Then it will happen.

so strange that the Green Party are simultaneously much too small to be an effective political force and a big enough threat to Labour that voting for them makes you an evil wrecker who is personally responsible for Lord Protector Nigel Farage.

On the question of why everyone hates the current PM, here: this feels exactly right to me. And straight up, I do not feel like any replacement leader who would be tolerated by the press could do better than this. Possibly worse, if anything.

If you're going to volunteer at a food bank because of the current times, please consider wearing a mask when helping distributing food. Even if they're not wearing a mask themselves, poor people have enough to deal with right now, getting an infectious disease just adds to the burden.

I cannot tell you how many tech journalists at prominent media organizations do not understand this
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
