The "cognitive decline and brain damage from repeat COVID infections" and "easy to use robot that makes slop and melts your critical thinking skills" is a hell of a combo in a post-fact media ecosystem

Cozyfication issues aside, on what plane of existence is Practical Magic a horror movie?

And of course, it's not until now I realize it should have been, "There's a TROR or TRXOR joke in there somewhere. Or not."

Have you ever been lost in a video game level, wandering empty halls, until you know you're going the right way because you finally run into enemies? Because you don't know what to do without conflict? Well some people live their real lives that way

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Salvation Army seen feeding ICE today. For anyone who doesn't already know about their bigotry, here is more, No need to give them your money this Christmas, or ever.

It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.

Listen—it's all connected. If you oppose $50B of our taxes to ICE to abuse people in the USA—but support $38B of our taxes to fund Israel's military occupation of Palestine as they abuse Palestinians far worse than how ICE abuses Americans—then you don't actually oppose ICE abusing people in the USA

The new SW trilogy pulled more than $4bil in box office revenue.
Concord was a $60 game with almost no advertising released to a saturated market and whose competitors are almost all free to play.

You should maybe stop listening to people who profit from your anger when they tell you what to hate.

If the word "Harryhausen" means anything at all to then you have got to watch the new Deathstalker. What an absolutely stupid-good time.

"I'll fight till hell freezes over and then I'll cut the ice and fight on" is metal af
Post by user @jamellebouie.net that reads, "from chandra manning's wonderful book "what this cruel war was over"

Nothing made slavery's toxicity more obvious to Union troops than its effect on the fundamental unit of society, the family. For one thing, slave sales separated families. In the Upper Sout, where many Union soldiers were stationed in 1861, about one in three first marriages was broken by sale, and about half of all slave children were separated from at least one parent. With their own eyes, soldiers saw slavery snap bonds between parents and children. The men of the Seventh Wisconsin were awakened by gunshots one November night. The following day, soldiers "learned, and saw the cause of the alarm in the form of two negro women—a mother and a daughter." The pair had fled to Union lines to avoid the proposed sale of the "goodlooking" daughter into the so-called fancy trade, which soldiers viewed as a form of concubinage. Outraged by the plight and moved by the vulnerability of the mother and daughter, "every private in the ranks" cursed "that system which tramples on the honor of man, and makes merchandise of the virtue of women," according to one member of the regiment. When an Iowan encountered a young child about to be sold by her own father, who was also her master, he vowed, "By G-d I'll fight till hell freezes over and then I'll cut the ice and fight on."

It would be immensely helpful for a story I'm working on. My information is signal below.

Someone needs to explain this to Trump in words he'll understand.

"OK, so you know how you buy stuff from McDonald's, but they never buy anything from you? That's a 'trade deficit' & putting a 'tariff' on McDonald's in response would be like giving Doordash more money to deliver your Big Macs."

Yeah, I have a hard time believing that the execs at that particular studio would have let a Civil War era AC game get past the pitch meeting stage. (Unless they did it as a pseudo-sequel to AC Rogue and had you play a Templar/Confederate...I can see Ubi execs drooling over that)

Just kidding, there is no counter point to the unvarnished truth.
