Nearing the end of Bloodlines 2. I'm enjoying it. However, there are so many signs now of the game we could have had, and what the devs obviously wanted to make.
For everything it does right, there is a missed opportunity. Let's hope the DLC stories get some polish before they are released.

Every generation, and even every small community, has had it's 6-7. At our HS it was "Jerry" or "Your momma's penis". Before that it was Simpson quotes and Beavis impressions ("I am the great cornholio! I need TP for my bunghole"). Brain rot isn't new, it just gets viral, and ends, faster.

Every time I go to one of the other socials to check in on folks, I notice that most of the conservative leaning ones are the most duped by AI. This morning it's an AI Reagan using language that didn't exist until the 00s. These aren't dumb people either. They are seemingly just willfully ignorant.

So much wasted time. Time to only work during office hours and take advantage of my unlimited PTO. Malicious compliance here we come.

34 Nights in and I still haven't beat Hades 2. I've gotten to both bosses, and almost killed each. I can say I'm glad I didn't spoil myself on any of the encounters, because watching the story unfold is awesome.

This is the grandson of the dude who used Reagan era policies to monopolize the housing construction markets, claim his houses were "luxury" to jack up prices while cutting corners, and screw contractors out of money. Now those same boomer contractors are rooting for him.
These people hate it when you make them prove their allegations instead of just allowing them to go straight to sentencing & punishment. His bs case against Lisa Cook has fallen apart making him look like the buffoon he is, so they want to remove her now before a hearing.
