Fine that someone is doing the thinking of how to fix a system by reforming what works poorly.

To deal with backlog and dysfunction and unfairness I’d start with fundamental rethinking, maybe starting with jubilee.

Remove the incentive to file weak or frivolous claims? Sure. Make migration easy

This is the roughly the ratio of the foreign-born population which existed for half a century from the late 19th to the early 20th century.

/note that this chart is from 2019, the percent of the population which is foreign-born is now somewhat above 15%, which is a new high.

Wait so Noem is now admitting it's not fentanyl? They're just pretending that they didn't make a bunch of previous statements trying to link these boats to fentanyl?

/and yes, the claim of saving hundreds of millions of lives by blowing up some cocaine is obviously laughable.

Boys need more friends who are girls, not girlfriends.
"the issue isn’t that we need more 'boy-friendly' reforms. It’s that boys are socialized to compete only with boys and to read girls’ success as illegitimate or emasculating. The result is dissonance, resentment, and disengagement for boys—and hostile climates for girls."

To note just one of the many problems with this idea, there are multiple that countries do not permit you to relinquish citizenship — and some of those countries also have jus sanguinis laws that make someone a citizen even if they were born in the U.S. and never left.
Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, just introduced a bill to ban Americans from holding dual citizenship. The bill says that to “preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided.” It’s called the Exclusive Citizenship Act.

And those corporate donations he keeps bragging about are pledges, not real money. Taxpayers will end up on the hook one way or another.
