To be clear:

LA County has declared a state of emergency BECAUSE OF the federal government.

The Feds, LA County is (correctly) saying, have CAUSED the emergency.

This is a striking political moment of internal collapse. Local govts feeling compelled to protect their ppl from … their own govt.

AZ AG Mayes: If I have to, I’ll take Speaker Johnson to court. There's no legitimate reason for him to refuse to swear her in right now. And it's not fair for Mike Johnson to be holding the state of Arizona hostage because he doesn't want to release the Epstein files.

No se confundieron, solo vieron un tatuaje y pensaron que era un pandillero. Además, solo ven un Latino y piensan que es un indocumentado. Y también son racistas y piensan que este es un país de puros güeros. Son torcidos por los medios que escuchen.

Heard on ABC news that our government says that supposedly some Mexican cartel is going after ICE agents. Where is the proof? Journalists need to check anything and everything that the government says. Once again, the government is using false pretense to make their mission seem real (it's a sham).

We don’t know who these people were, and even if they had tons of drugs—you board the motorboat, you don’t murder people on the open ocean.

This is like watching a serial killer count his victims.

Oh yes, it goes without saying that you should not trust the agencies determination of whether someone is a member of that gang. They have gotten it wrong so many times that their assertions on this point are not trustworthy without independent validation.

So how did they 'verify' it? Oh, I see, he had a tatoo and was born in the Venezuelan state of Aragua (there really is an Araguan state in Venezuela). This whole stupid idea about Venezuelan gangs is a ruse. The thousands of dollars ICE and Federal government wasted on this. Good Lord have mercy.

So much b.s., because no one corrected these lies from the beginning the lies are getting bigger and bigger. It's as if Pinocchio's nose has grown so effing long, it is stinking up hell itself.

A press conference with the Mayor Everett, Mass. about the ICE abduction of a 13-year-old boy is about to begin. You can watch here: www.facebook.com/cityofeveret...

This is the response I received from ICE when I inquired about the 13-year-old they abducted from Everett, Mass. on Friday:
Good afternoon, Marisa.
Please see the below from DHS on the 13-year-old alien.
Please feel free to direct any questions to them.
Respectfully,
James

Here are the facts: he posed a public safety threat with an extensive rap sheet including violent assault with a dangerous weapon, battery, breaking and entering, destruction of property.
He was in possession of a firearm and 5-7 inch knife when arrested.

Direct confirmation that DHS’s version of the facts was not fully true. They were correct about the knife, wrong about the gun, and jury still out on the prior criminal history.

There had been reports that the boy had a gun on him, but Mayor DeMaria and the police chief said there was not a gun found on him.

“The crowd’s shouts of ‘let them in, let them in’ quickly turned to ‘shame, shame’ as folks realized that ICE would not let Jesus, present in the Eucharist, into the facility,” Father Inczauskis wrote. “Jesus was knocking at the federal agents’ door, and they would not let him in.”

Rev. David Black, a Presbyterian minister, raised his hands in peaceful prayer when agents on the roof fired pepper balls at him, striking him in the head.

Rev. Black & other faith leaders have faced violence for nothing more than praying outside ICE detention centers.
Clergy Member Shot With Pepper Ball Outside ICE Facility Says He Could Hear Agents ‘Laughing’
Rev. David Black, who has since joined a lawsuit against the administration “alleging violations of the First and Fourth Amendments,” says he protests to let immigrants know “that they are not alone."

Remember when Stephen Miller claimed the Chicago apartment raid was on a building “filled with Tren de Aragua terrorists”?

Well, DHS has now dropped the number of alleged TdA members arrested in the building from 2 to 1.
Just one "verified" Tren de Aragua member and one U.S. citizen with an active warrant were among the 37, DHS said, without saying how it had verified that gang affiliation. Others taken that day, the agency said, were "illegal aliens."

Doubtful if anything that ICE says is true. Just a ruse to put more people into detention and deport. People that are not criminals. The government has now become the enemy of the people. All people.

The entire incident is infuriating and terrifying. She’s a Latina woman who was working a service job. On her way home late at night, with her headphones in, she was detained for an hour by masked federal agents who wouldn’t give her their names.
Maria Greeley, 44, had just finished working a double shift at the Beach Bar on Ohio Street
earlier this month when she said she was surrounded by three federal agents who grabbed her, forced her hands behind her back and zip tied her.
Headphones in, Greeley had been focused on getting home to her two dogs for a walk.
Instead, she said she was detained by masked agents who did not answer when she asked for names. They questioned her for an hour, she said.

In LA, DC, and elsewhere, DHS officers are reportedly pulling over work vans without warning and detaining everyone inside.

ICE is all over the city and burbs today, including Waukegan. Multiple reports on social media from people who have found empty work vans and are trying to locate family of their owners. This is a near daily occurrence now.

I helped a man who had drug charges from the 70's (was in prison for 2 years) get his citizenship in 2017. He was already 70 then and had his green card already for 20 years. So, it's really at the discretion of those who decide each case. A 45 year old drug charge shouldn't have gotten him deported
