A bunny, dressed like a sea captain, smokes a pipe as he sits on the roof of his tavern in a town by the sea. The tavern is called "The Birb & Bun", and there are a few seagulls on the roof with him, relaxing. At the entrance to the tavern, younger sailor bunnies are on shore leave.

I’m not really a musical kinda guy but I figured Singin’ in the Rain is such a classic I should finally watch it. The singing and dancing are vibrant and dynamic, and the famous ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ sequence might be the most joyful minutes of movie magic I’ve ever seen!

Picking up a miniature, Blue goes deep into focus, gently brushing the figurine with a paint brush, making a soft, quiet little "shup" sound every time.

Looking up from his work, Blue turns to listen as Green interrupts his work to say something.
Green: I like the little sound that your brush makes when you paint.

Blue lowers the miniature, looking at it with a frown.

Spooky bird stories. Last year's Halloween comic.

A comic titled Spooky Bird Stories. In panel 1, a turkey vulture is telling stories to other vultures, and it says, "She walked toward the source of the terrible smell. She got closer and closer, and then, to her horror, she saw... No dead body." A black vulture says "No!" and a turkey vulture says "Did someone already eat it??"
In panel 2, a northern cardinal is telling a story to some songbirds. It says "They peered through the windows of the house at the gory scene. Zombies had smashed through the door in the night. The homeowner was dead. But worst of all... He hadn't refilled the feeders." An eastern bluebird says "Aaah!" and an American goldfinch says "It can't be!".
In panel 3, a screech owl is telling a story to other owls. It says "And then the ghost fluffed itself up really big to appear scarier." A saw-whet owl gasps, and a long-eared owl says "Horrifying!".
In panel 4, a downy woodpecker is telling a story to other woodpeckers, and says "The eerie sound rang through the dark woods. Tap-tap. Tap-tap. It was the distinctive two-part knock of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker. The species had returned from the dead... FOR REVENGE." A red-cockaded woodpecker says "Yesss".

Admittedly, I'm not 100% up for talking/socializing today, but I've made a commitment to stream on Tuesdays. Today's Night Writes may be informal/with minimal responses, but I do want to push myself to finish chapter 7.

The whole story is punk - well, ultimately about rebellion against authority.

The story starts at a gig, which is not turning out to be fun. Her boyfriend can be a dick sometimes.

(I also do #3dRenders of scenes - #noAI )

It's a gig, in the background there's a guy on stage with a guitar and a crowd looking at him.

In the foreground is a young woman, Geeta, wearing hip-hugging jeans, cut-off top showing a lot of skin, and hijab.

She's really pissed off; shouting and gesturing at the young man directly in front with his back to the camera. He's got his hand on the back of his neck as if he's feeling uncomfortable. (His name is Roach, he's her boyfriend but can be a real dickhead sometimes.)

Inspired by the first scene of the novel CAT PEOPLE - currently my work-in-progress.
