Painter of the Tarot of the Witch's Garden.

Based in Scotland.
There is a reason why I chose the Star for the cover of the 2026 Calendar.
We find healing in her waters, renewed inspiration in her light. That’s my wish for the coming year.
It’s no coincidence that it comes right after the Tower - hope after destruction.

Painting these was the highlight of my November, art-wise. I hope they'll bring some magic to people's homes this Yule 🎄

Actual interaction I had today at my specialist appointment for chronic arm pain.

Doctor: Can't you take ibuprofen?
Me: ...what, every day?
Doctor: Yes, if it helps.
Me: isn't it... Bad for you?
Doctor: No evidence to suggest that.
Me: ehm... 👀👀👀

I did a little re-introduction + AMA over on IG (a bit too long for Bsky).
I've been so bad at keeping up with social media recently 🙈

I've been enjoying painting small relaxed watercolours of the surrounding countryside lately. This piece was inspired by a walk in Falkland, when the rosehip leaves had just started turning.

Explored an abandoned kirkyard on the shores of Loch Leven today.

There used to be a church dating from the Middle Ages here, later replaced by a mausoleum to the Thorn family. The oldest gravestones date to the 1600s.

The whole place is overgrown with yews, nettle, ash, bramble, elder 🌿

Tabled at a local market today.
On my left: a woman selling "original" designed totebags (featuring AI cats).
On my right: "hand burnt wooden artwork" (laser engraved AI images).
Uuuuuugh. 🙃
On top of that I had to listen to them brag to customers about how long it takes to make them.
