Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

My partner’s sister tried to get her Covid shot but because she doesn’t have insurance it’s $200 and she’s unemployed so she couldn’t afford to get it (they also live in a small town so free clinics are hard to get to) this country is just so cruel

We went to the light Art show at the botanical gardens last night and there’s this projection display with music that lights up the trees with images, really cool. This guy behind me was talking about how you could just have AI create this for you 😩😒 truly hate that what AI is doing to people 😤
