You should be concerned about the rate of authors leaving publishing. Especially from marginalized communities. This year I have seen so many authors just pack it up and go. And it's only getting worse.

Ahh amazing! I’ve been wanting to go that cinema. Saw A Monster Calls in New Year’s Day at the cinema when it came out. Had no idea what it was about so perhaps not the most festive movie but absolutely loved it.

Just went to see feminist lesbian Dracula on stage!

It was… pretty good. Needed more lesbian content tbh. I was quite bored in the first half cos I know the story so well, the second half was a more unhinged reboot that I really enjoyed.

Yeah I had 5 phone calls with the surgery going back and forth, to finally conclude that I’m no longer eligible for either. They’ve really cracked down. Then paid for a Boots one, and today I was told to rebook as that slot wasn’t available. I have a new booking now so let’s see!

Back home from 2 weeks in Scotland. I had the absolute best time with favourite people!

I will say though, I love Scotland with all my heart. But that is too much rain. It just is. Way too much rain.
