In 2018, Epstein told former White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, “Donald does not really own very much, he rents out his name. I know how dirty Donald is.” He also discussed subpoenas for Trump’s Deutsche Bank records, calling them “very very bad.” Insider knowledge was his currency for access.

In email exchanges with Epstein, Kathryn Ruemmler (former WH counsel under Obama) “appears to be contemplating a job offer: attorney general of the United States, according to contemporary reports.

“And who does she seek advice from?

“A convicted sex offender.”

Anand Giridharadas' discussion of the Epstein emails as a record of the thought and conduct of white mail elites is the best writing on this subject I have seen in the last several weeks. Read it.

Kathryn Ruemmler was an Obama admin attorney. She went on to a silk stocking law firm and then to Goldman Sachs. She is no friend to women and was an Epstein acolyte. She deserves to be shunned. She knew he was a pedophile. A misogynist woman! Shame on her.

When history looks back on today evangelical Christians will say that the Trump supporters weren’t real Christians. They’ll distance themselves. They’ll make apologies for what their denominations did. All the while continuing to cause harm in a different way.
