One reason Labour has given that the SNP is a “threat to national security” is that Swinney recently stopped subsidising arms companies arming Israel. In other words, Labour has decided to double down on its place as the pro-genocide party: bylinetimes.com/2025/11/06/t...

Labour's attempts to brand the Scottish National Party a threat to the UK’s national security is a drastic escalation of Labour’s anti-independence rhetoric, argues Adam Ramsay

All my life I have struggled with this conundrum. ''Just why are some people so ready to meekly accept that compared to England we are inferior & we should be resigned to live life in second place''?
''Have they no dignity, No aspirations for their country or for their children''?

If the UK Government truly believed that the SNP are a threat to national security then they'd move to make them a proscribed organisation.

Since they're not, they're evidently lying.
Scottish Secretary Douglas Alexander has said that he believes the Scottish Government is a threat to 'national security' as he blasted the SNP's position on defence spending

This long overdue. The harm they cause to animals is so cruel. There is no redeeming quality to fireworks and there is little or no control of when and where they are set off for weeks!
Best description of Rachel Reeves press conference this morning came from @theguardian.com's John Crace's article "Reeves wants to talk about the budget, but she's taken a vow of white noise" can only be bettered by his description of the event as "the budget as performed by interpretive dance" 🤣😂

No allegedly about being briefed.
Mandelson was a known Epstein pal along with Andrew but like everything else, Starmer will ignore this.

AND specifically
anything Scottish.
Keir Starmer was allegedly briefed on details of Peter Mandelson’s links to disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein before he was appointed US ambassador

It's funny when you realise the European Court of HUMAN RIGHTS is also there to protect the rights of any citizen against its own government.

When politicians say they want to abolish it, it doesn't take the mind of a fkn genius to figure out what they want to do.

Scotch Whisky is 202 years old.

Even quite sensible people think that: The 75% UK Duty and the fabulous wealth, that comes with being 25% of ALL UK Food and Drink Exports, is controlled by Scotland.

It's not.

Only Scotland being Independent, will divert this multi billion Westminster Cashcow!
Swinney should focus on domestic policy rather than US whisky deal – Alexander

In all of these actions there is a severe lack of people raising the issue of any alleged perpetrators facing legal action. There are many more than Andrew Windsor in the Epstein files. There appears to be a two-tier justice system where the rich and powerful are not expected to be held to account.

Douglas Alexander, Governor of the province of North Britain: “The fact is, we want the First Minister of Scotland to support the efforts of the British Government”.

The fact is, you sneering dickhead, that you’re supposed to be Secretary of State FOR Scotland - not Starmer’s flunky in Edinburgh.

Tesco could pay every worker an extra £10,000 and still make a profit.

British Gas could pay every worker an extra £35,000 and still make a profit.

Shell could pay every worker an extra £300,000 and still make a profit.
