If ever an issue reminded us of the pressing need for independence it is the WM government scanning our country looking for future nuclear sites. The record on safety for these leaves a lot to be desired. The decommissioning of them, when required, will take decades, at least. We don't need them!

The 2024 Labour manifesto is available for use if anyone revives Jackanory. It is a work of fiction. I doubt that its use would encourage reading as the original programme tried to do, though.

It's bad enough that the Labour government did not get involved in the Alexander Dennis crisis, despite requests from the company, but to then claim that they were the leaders in the Scottish government's solution is shameless and despicable. Scotland needs better. Scotland needs independence.

Nailing my colours to the mast, I am all for the ending of the monarchy. They have no role in a modern society. Especially when anyone can see the awful behaviour that many of them exhibit.

I agree that there should be a UK investigation. Also, I hope that, when the USA recovers its collective consciousness, that Trump et al are investigated very closely. May not happen, of course.

In all of these actions there is a severe lack of people raising the issue of any alleged perpetrators facing legal action. There are many more than Andrew Windsor in the Epstein files. There appears to be a two-tier justice system where the rich and powerful are not expected to be held to account.
